Cancer suxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Today I found out my Mom has colon cancer. It came as such a shock that all I could do was cry! ACCCCK! I look like Rudolph when I cry and not just while crying either but for the entire day!!!!

Anyway.....this will no doubt put a damper on Thanksgiving. We are all trying to remain positive for Mom's sake but the waiting and non-knowing is hard. She had breast cancer 15 years ago and licked it so we are hoping and praying that this cancer has been caught early and she will beat it, too. (nice run on sentence there).

Please, if you are reading this, put her in your thoughts...your prayers...I would appreciate it!

A couple of months ago......

.....I met an Etsian in person. Her shop name is modcustomjewelry.etsy.com. She makes the most amazing jewelry but more than that she is a truly amazing person! We met at her hotel, went out for a nice dinner and got to know each other a little bit. Oh, and she took me on my first visit to a ..... shhhhhhh....a sex toy shop! hahahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

The next day we spent nearly the entire day together......we had breakfast together, spent some time on her laptop, she gave me an awesome chainmaille tutorial (and even GAVE me the supplies to learn to do it myself) ..... then we went shopping til we nearly dropped (she even bought me a pair of GORGEOUS shoes), had lunch together and parted at the end of the day in such sweet sorrow.

I really miss you, Gini...........when are you coming back to Atlanta?

Today I started a blog. Why? Because my sister did and hey, I couldn't let her one up me, could I? Besides all of my friends have one. And they're like, 'hey, do you have a blog?' And I'm like, 'No, why should I?" Anyway.....here it is......don't know what I'm gonna do with it......what I'm gonna talk about, but I'm sure KJ will think of something......mwuhahahahaaaaaaaaaaa.
